Join us to learn more about the global diversity within Islam. Shattering the notion of a monolithic Islam, this lecture explores the inherent pluralism of the classical Islamic tradition and contemporary Muslim practices. How do living communities practice and celebrate Islam? Examining texts, interpretations and data polling, we will examine the global diversity of Muslim practices and beliefs on a range of issues, including women and gender, violence and religious pluralism.
